When I was a little girl, my uncle was a Methodist minister and he would send me boxes of beautiful satin ribbons carefully collected after weddings, christenings, holidays in the church. I have very fond memories of ribbon so created these elegant modern letters and words of hope formed from satin ribbon with smooth graceful curves. One subtle ribbon twist makes a refined sculptural typographic design with soft studio lighting and photorealistic satin ribbon texture. I chose three colors commonly associated with ribbons, bows. The colors of Christmas, love, remembrance, little girls and breast cancer fundraising.
